【剧情简介】

    野村聪（织田裕二）是县厅的专职公务员，无论在工作成绩还是自尊心方面都高人一等。除了眼前的工作，野村还策划了“特别护养老人设施建设”这个大项目，准备向着更高的地位迈进。此外，野村的恋人还是本地建筑财团老板的千金。此时的他，可谓是人生得意，前途无可限量。

    在项目实施之前，野村被选派到龙头民营企业进修。然而，野村所看到的“龙头企业”，不过是一家店员懒散成性、客人稀稀拉拉的三流超市“满天堂”。到了这里，野村完全没有用武之地，甚至变成了累赘。野村的教育员二宫亚纪（柴崎幸）是个年轻的兼职店员，每当有状况的时候，他总会和二宫发生冲突。

    不知何故，野村的名字被从“特别护养老人设施建设”的项目中拿掉，而且恋人也和他分手了，原本春风得意的人生骤然跌入谷底。危机关头，二宫鼎力支持野村，使他重新振作。两人着手于超市的改革计划，同时找回了许多在人生中被遗忘的东西......
